A 35-year-old man who abused disabled people in a live broadcast on social media has been in the hands of the Hellenic Police since Tuesday afternoon. According to the information, this is the youtuber “Hayate” or as others called him “Chief”. Specifically, the Authorities arrested the 35-year-old in an area of Attica on Tuesday afternoon for human trafficking and physical harm to weak people, with the aggravating circumstance of the article on crimes with racist characteristics due to disability.
“Hayate” had repeatedly engaged in abusive behavior that included insults, physical harm, and sexual acts against people with disabilities due to mental retardation, which he even broadcast on both YouTube and Tik Tok, with his viewers paying to see everything that was happening.
Following complaints, Police Officers from the Racist Violence Department of the State Security Sub-Directorate went to the home of “Hayate”, where a search was carried out, during which seven (7) hard drives and four (4) mobile phones were seized, while he himself was arrested.

The State Security Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security Directoratearrested, at noon today, February 6, 2024, in an area of Attica, a 35-year-old man for human trafficking and bodily harm to weak people, with the aggravating circumstance of the article on crimes with racist characteristics due to disability.
In particular, the defendant, at least since January 2023, maintained a profile on a social networking platform, using a pseudonym, in which he broadcast live abusive behaviors against people with mental disabilities, for the purpose of his illegal financial gain.
Specifically, these acts consisted of continuous insults, physical harm and sexual acts, which were requested by viewers who watched on live stream, paying the corresponding amount of money.
The above-mentioned person was arrested at his home by police officers from the Racist Violence Department, as part of a search warrant, as in the early hours of today, he carried out a new live broadcast of such acts, against two weak individuals, who were transferred to a shelter.
In the legal investigations that were carried out, -7- hard drives and -4- mobile phones were found and seized, while the arrested person will be taken to the competent prosecution authority.
