To get a general idea of ​​the changes coming with the new Linux kernel 4.6.4, we can mention that it updates some USB drivers, improves networking, with improvements to the AX.25, IPv6 and IPv4 protocols, and much, much more.

After four days of testing, Arch Linux developers have managed to release the new 4.6.4 kernel to the stable channels of the distribution, and you can immediately upgrade your installation with the command “pacman -Syu” in your terminal.

If you are using the LTS version of the kernel on your Arch Linux operating system, Linux kernel 4.4.15 LTS is released, and is also available in the distribution's stable repositories.
