Description

The General Secretariat for Research & Technology, within the framework of the special research and innovation actions of the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF), designed and announced the action "Industrial Research & Technology Development Program (PAVET) 2013" with a deadline for submission of proposals on June 13, 2013.

Purpose of the action is to encourage and develop industrial research and experimental development by financing projects that will be carried out by dynamic domestic companies with the aim of strengthening their competitiveness and producing high value‑added products and services.

The total available public expenditure of the operation amounts to €19,800,000 and is co-financed by resources from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and by national resources within the framework of the OP "Competitiveness & Entrepreneurship" and the OPs of the five (5) Regions in Transition.

Within the framework of the call for proposals, more than 880 companies collaborated to submit S&T proposals. A total of 582 proposals were submitted by individual companies or by partnerships of independent companies. The total budget of the proposals amounts to €216,986,164 and the total requested public expenditure to €139,739,033.
