Allo, Google's new app

Just a few days ago, Google released its new video calling app, Duo, which has already become the number 1 free app on the Play Store. However, during this year's Google I/O, the company also announced a new messaging app called Allo.
Allo is expected to be released soon and of course information about the app continues to surface, with the latest information indicating that the app will come with a feature that will allow users to delete messages from their chat history. Users will be able to select the message and simply delete it from the chat.
Note that this feature is not available yet, but it may be later, as it has already appeared in the beta stage of the app.

It appears that the top bar of the app can be changed to display the following options: share, forward, copy and delete. Incoming and outgoing messages can be easily deleted. The messages are removed from the user's device and account, but they are still visible on the recipient's phone.
Another interesting and useful feature is that the app will allow you to delete media contained in messages that are not only in the app but also on your phone. Messages sent through Allo can contain photos, videos, and even audio files.
The new feature is similar to WhatsApp, but the delete option is not found in Google's Hangouts app. Google has also recently stated that Hangouts will start focusing on enterprise users.
