Ever since Pokémon Go launched, we've certainly been trying to imagine some way we could use a car to play.
However, until now all these thoughts belonged to the realm of imagination.
Imagine your surprise when you discover that the media publisher of Pink Java has allegedly hacked his Tesla Model S to install and run Pokémon Go on his car's 17-inch dashboard display.
However, as entertaining as this sounds, the claim raises some concerns. The man, who is referred to simply as “Jeff,” says he has turned down offers to hack more Teslas because, as he put it, it’s a “trial and error process.” The claim doesn’t sound all that convincing, though.
In addition to his car hack, Jeff claims to have once set the lights in his house to flash when he received an email. He now admits that he can't figure out how to stop it. That doesn't sound like the work of an experienced hacker!
And as if that weren't enough, Pink Java hasn't shared any videos or other details about how Jeff accomplished this automotive feat. Given that, as well as the super-annoying hack at his home, it's likely that this is all a hoax.
However, it remains an excellent idea and gives hope that in the future this may become a reality!
