Mozilla's all-new Superfast Servo Browser will be announced in June!
Mozilla launched the Servo browser engine as an experimental project. In an internal discussion, Mozilla engineers revealed, among other things, that its first release is expected in June.
Servo is built from the ground up using Mozilla's homegrown programming language, Rust. Designed to be more modular, Servo comes with the option to install only the components you need, making it safer and faster than C++ — a language that is ill-suited to solving problems like memory leaks and bugs, according to Mozilla. It is designed to handle tasks like HTML parsing, rendering, etc. as separate tasks.

It is being developed for Linux, OS X, Android, and Firefox OS. However, Mozilla has not revealed any official date for the official release of the browser. The team is pushing for the first Alpha release to be in June to get feedback from developers and improve it.

At this time, the browser is still in a very early stage.
The current work on Servo is also accompanied by a research project called Browser.html to build an experimental Servo browser in HTML format. This project has two major parts:
Graphene: a runtime for building native HTML apps, currently developed as part of Servo.
Browser.html: an experimental browser UI for desktop.
