The slides leaked by Intel reveal information about the Haswell-E processors that will be placed in the new LGA2011-3 socket, with the motherboards featuring the X99 chipset.

The processors will also have a DDR4 memory controller to support related memories.

These CPUs will give way to Broadwell-E which will appear in the last four months of 2015.

As for Broadwell, it is expected in early 2015, which will essentially be Haswell architecture at 14nm, while being fully compatible with the 9 Series motherboards on the market.

In mid-2015, and probably at the next Computex 2015, Intel will announce and simultaneously introduce the Skylake.

Initially, the company will only offer locked models of the family, with unlocked coming in 2016, when a response from AMD with its rumored new architecture is expected.
