Don't trust your secrets to Twitter Circle
Over the past 7 days, several people have expressed confusion about seeing tweets from unknown users in Twitter’s For You tab. These posts apparently came from a “Circle,” which is supposed to be invisible to anyone outside of that group. This issue has caused some concern for those unfamiliar with these circles or how they work.
Twitter is now a mess
Since Elon Musk 's acquisition of Twitter and the subsequent mass layoffs, including engineering positions, the platform has been plagued by many problems . Its woes reached their peak when its source code was compromised during a notorious blackout that occurred weeks ago.
In March, Twitter made some drastic changes to its For You tab — now showing tweets from accounts you don’t follow, as well as tweets from accounts like Elon Musk to those who don’t follow him. It seems like these changes have disrupted the intended purpose of how Twitter should work.

In a bid to promote the paid Twitter Blue subscription, Musk said the blue verification badge will now only be available through paid memberships. He also said they are taking additional steps to limit the reach of tweets from non-paying users in order to reduce spam and bots on the platform.
