iFixit disassembles an iPhone 5S

The iFixit team took an iPhone 5s and did what they do best: They tore it apart.

You can see the Touch ID sensor. If you plan to do it at home (when it is released in Greece, hopefully, you are willing to pay 800 euros and grab the screwdrivers) watch out for the sharp pulls. If you don't understand why, see the photo below.

The battery iFixit discovered inside the device is a 3.8V-5.92Wh-1560mAh battery from Desay Battery Co, Ltd, a Chinese company. It's a bit larger than the one in the iPhone 5, which was 3.8V – 5.45Wh – 1440mAh.

Although the new battery seems to have better specifications than the previous one, we would like to see it in practice when it runs a 64-bit processor.
