The first cross-device security service to use voice and facial recognition technology to protect its users’ digital lives. The achievement of the new technology (which was a joint vision of Intel and McAfee) will redefine consumer security. McAfee LiveSafe will allow those who choose it to connect securely across all their devices. The special introductory price will be $19.99 with the purchase of select new PCs or tablets.
A recent global survey conducted by McAfee revealed that over 40% of households have five or more Internet-enabled devices. McAfee LiveSafe will provide a comprehensive approach to security, as consumers will have a simple Web-based management dashboard to centrally manage the security of all their PCs, Macs, smartphones and tablets. To further enhance consumer security, McAfee LiveSafe will also include a cloud-based “safebox,” called “McAfee Personal Locker.” McAfee Personal Locker will also use facial and voice recognition to authenticate users. This will allow them to securely store sensitive personal information, financial records, passports and more. It will also allow users to easily and securely manage passwords and automatically log in to all their online accounts from any device.
