Apple is not an ally of jailbreaking, never has been, so every time it makes sure to lock down the exploits that jailbreakers have found in its iOS operating system with new upgrades.
The Evaders jailbreak tool is therefore suitable for iOS 6.1, 6.1.1 and 6.1.2 since Apple did not have time to lock down any of the exploits they had discovered in these versions.
However, as Forbes' Andy Greenberg recently reported, the iOS 6.1.3 beta closes one of the main exploits in the Evaders tool. There are five exploits in total, but Apple only needs to close one of the four to stop the tool from working.
Over at Forbes, data expert Andy Greenberg reports that iOS 6.1.3 beta 2 closes at least one of the exploits — a time zone bug — of the five exploits that evasi0n depends upon to succeed. And if one of those vulnerabilities doesn't work, the whole jailbreak stops working.
So don't delay any longer if you want to jailbreak your device.
