The evad3rs immediately released the new evasi0n 1.4 for the jailbreak of Apple devices running the new iOS 6.1.2, just hours after its release from Cupertino.
Apple seems reluctant to patch the vulnerabilities that allow jailbreaking.
The new iOS 6.1.2 was released with a fix to address a bug in the Exchange calendar that could lead to “increased network activity and reduced battery life,” according to Apple.
The update fails to address several other bugs, including a rather serious security flaw that allows anyone to bypass the password lock and view sensitive information.
