It has become common to refer to large IT and technology companies as the ideal places to work , but this does not seem to be the case for many Apple employees .

According to the Wall Street Journal , 20,000 Apple employees in California are suing the company for poor working conditions, mainly regarding working hours .

More specifically, employees are required to work 8 hours continuously until they take a break , while in the meantime, short breaks for rest are not allowed.

These 20,000 employees work primarily in phone support and Apple Stores, while some are new developers in R&D for new gadgets.

This particular class action lawsuit was filed in 2011, and has now been made public, without a final decision, but it is speculated that it will cost Apple dearly.
