Microsoft will be very busy in January as it prepares to hold a special event for Windows 10 and, immediately after, will release a new test version through the Windows Insider program.
On January 21st, the scheduled event will answer many questions and provide us with more information about the Phone 10 lineup features, as well as the next build of the 10 Technical Preview.
Insider program manager Gabriel Aul confirmed in a tweet that the new build is scheduled to be released this month, and that it will bring "several fixes."
The next version of Windows 10 will be available to Insider members who currently have version 9879 installed, Microsoft warned.
Build 9879 is the last official version released by Microsoft, but apart from this version, two other versions were leaked online and of course, they have been installed by many.
The leaked builds 9888 and 9901 brought several improvements, but they are still unstable versions and of course not supported by Microsoft's upgrade program.
The January 21 event will focus primarily on consumer experiences on Windows 10, and Microsoft is expected to unveil several new features, such as Continuum, which will allow users to switch from the desktop to the Modern UI in a second, without interrupting their work.
Microsoft's event will be broadcast online, so we will be able to watch it freely. Microsoft's promotion of its new product is probably considered extremely necessary, especially after the company's "defeat" since the release of 8.
