The first application exhibited at the museum of modern art is a reality

The Museum of Modern Art in New York, MoMA, has decided to add to its permanent collection the Biophilia application, which is an interactive musical creation inspired by the popular singer Bjork.
So for the first time in history, MoMA will have a digital application for its exhibits that is available for Android and iOS devices.
The app was created in 2011 to coincide with the release of Bjork's new album, with the aim of making it more interactive, as listeners who downloaded the Biophilia app essentially played an interactive music game, unlocking various parts of the song they liked or creating their own version.
MoMA believes that with Biophilia, Bjork truly redefined the way people perceive music, making them active participants in the final form of the musical creation and not just passive listeners.
