Her jewellery designs are inspired by Greece‘s extraordinary natural beauty, rich history and cultural traditions. “In a sea-surrounded country like Greece, turquoise is the dominant colour trend. I love pairing it with yellow gold,” says Anna Maria Mazaraki, adding that she adores the texture of turquoise stone combined with metal, white pearls, coral and the stunning enamel on silver.
Anna Maria Mazaraki believes that by creating jewellery her business helps preserve Greek traditions while giving them a modern interpretation. The designer’s most treasured and significant piece of jewellery is her grandmother’s heirloom wedding ring.
